Professor Colin Knox, School of Policy Studies, University of Ulster and Professor John Darby, Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, University of Nortre Dame, Indiana, USA have prepared a final report analysing the responses to the Shared Future consultation. main themes emerging from the report were highlighted at a major conference held at Queen’s University, Belfast, on 27 January 2003.

Over the coming months this website will archive the responses received from "A Shared Future" : A consultation paper on improving relations in Northern Ireland.
The consultation was launched on 28 January 2003 and invited views on the future vision aims and objective of community relations policy.
The closing date of the consultation was subsequently extended from 31 July - 30 September 2003 in response to the extensive interest generated by the paper and to ensure that every opportunity was provided for the widest and most inclusive consultation process possible.
The consultation ended on 30 September 2003.
The Department will be producing an analysis of contributions received, in due course.
