Biography and speech of Seamus McAleavey

Seamus McAleavey is the Chief Executive of NICVA, the umbrella body for voluntary and community organisations in Northern Ireland which has over 1000 member organisations. Prior to working for NICVA, he worked with the Confederation of Community Groups in Newry. He is currently a member of the Concordia Social Partners Group comprising CBI, ICTU, Ulster Farmers' Union, NI Agricultural Producers' Association and NICVA; the Economic Development Forum, an advisory body to the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Investment; and the Community Support Framework Monitoring Committee.
